Next Fundraiser-We Need You!

Our next fundraiser has been scheduled! We will be hosting the FIRST Bingo Night here at Hedenkamp. So exciting! Event is scheduled for January 23, 2019 from 5 pm – 6:30 pm in the MPR. Tickets will be sold the week of January 14th (more info to come when we return from break).

We need parents to help with ticket sales prior to event, donated snack items for night of event, and prize donations (non-cash). If you are interested in helping with any part of this fundraiser, please contact Merissa (619) 253-4771 or Mrs. Reiff ( Thanks in advance for your support!

Camp Forms

Camp forms are being sent home this week with your 6th grader (you should see it by Friday). You should see the following papers:

*An introductory letter from Camp Marston

*Packing List

*Camp Store Prices (participation is optional)

*Health Form /Medical Authorization

We will need the completed Health Form back on February 1, 2019. If you have additional questions, please contact your child’s homeroom teacher. Thanks!

6th Grade Parent Meeting Next Week!

Please join us next Wednesday, November 14th, in the library, from 5:00 pm – 6:00 pm for a parent meeting. We will be discussing specifics related to the following:

  • How to be “in-the-know” as a 6th Grade parent
  • Camp
  • End-of-the-Year Traditions
  • Promotion
  • Fundraising & Volunteers

This meeting is meant for our 6th Grade parents/guardians (Students do not need to attend). We hope to see all of you next week!

Candy Cane Donations Needed!


Tis’ the Season for CANDY CANE GRAMS!

Our annual sixth grade fundraiser is scheduled to begin on December 10th. Before it begins, however, we need your help! We are asking each sixth grade family to donate a box of candy canes (fruit flavored varieties only). Please submit donated boxes to your child’s teacher on or before Friday, December 7th. The amount of money we make depends upon the number of candy canes donated. All monies raised will be used for end-of-the-year activities.

Tomorrow, and throughout next week,
Your help is what we boldly seek.
To help unload. To organize and unfold.
To sell trinkets and stories not yet told.
Please volunteer, if you have some time to spare,
And welcome your Huskies at their beloved Book Fair!


We need your help at the Book Fair. There are many time slots available, but most urgently we need help tomorrow for set up. Please sign up here

Husky Howl 2018

Husky Howl tickets are on sale! You may purchase tickets online through the Hedenkamp Web Store until October 14th. Tickets will also be sold on site on October 15th & 16th from 8:15 am -9:00 am (additional times will be announced soon).

• $15 wristband for Inflatable World
• Includes a 50% off coupon for a child ticket to Inflatable World for the 2019 season
